Dealing With Change

How do you handle change?  This topic has bubbled up several times with leaders over the last few weeks.  People deal and react to change differently and here are four profiles I share with my coaching clients and workshop participants to describe each type.

Change Profiles:

1-ON FIRE You thrive on change, the more the better and you welcome it because it motivates and gets you excited.

2-MICROSCOPE You are not for or against change, you require more data to make an informed decision with stories, testimonials, examples of the value of why the change is needed.

3-WALL You are in complete denial that change is happening, that change is needed or you may block the change from happening.

4-RUNNER You are afraid of change and it can literally make you ill, create anxiety, impact focus and cause stress and worry.

Which one are you?  Take note of these four ways people deal with change to increase your awareness of thoughts, be aware of other people’s feelings or thoughts and use it as a way to modify your message so you can get better buy-in to change moving forward.  You got this!

Blessings,

Merikay
