Learn. Grow. Lead.

This year marks 25 years in professional development to help people across the U.S. learn, grow and lead. That’s my new theme moving forward, to share insight in these three main areas to give support in your daily walk for impact in your career journey and personal life.

LEARN.

A positive and adaptable mindset is crucial for business success as it impacts everything from decision-making and problem-solving to innovation and resilience. A growth mindset, where individuals believe their abilities and intelligence can be developed, is particularly beneficial for businesses. This mindset encourages learning from mistakes, embracing challenges, and seeking opportunities for growth. My favorite statement for encouragement: “YOU got this!”

GROW.

Leadership development is crucial for organizations because it fosters employee engagement, strengthens talent pipelines, and improves overall organizational performance by developing critical skills, implementing cultural transformation, and driving strategy execution, according to the Center for Creative Leadership. It also attracts top talent, fosters a strong workplace culture, and prepares the organization for future success by creating a pool of future leaders.

LEAD.

This video brought tears of joy to my eyes.

Three words came to mind after I watched it.

Friendship. Kindness. Leadership.

ACTION ITEM:

Take 15 minutes to stop, reflect and journal.

→What kind of friends drain your energy or time?

→How does your team show kindness to each other?

→What are 3-4 of your leadership strengths?

→What do you want to learn as a leader to help others?

Resource: Leadership 101, John C. Maxwell

YOU GOT THIS!

Blessings,

Merikay
